Builder Services Liaison

Southern Energy, a North Carolina-based energy efficiency and solar power company, seeks a full-time Builder Services Liaison to join our fast-growing team.

Location(s): Based in Morrisville NC, minor travel within NC, SC, VA

Primary Responsibilities include:

§         Provide assistance to the Building Science team in administrative, customer service, sales and marketing support.

§         Serve as first point of contact for builders and homeowners for company services and Energy Star program.

§         Create professional proposals and marketing materials.

§         Review builder plans and related documents for certification compliance.

§         Present sales training program to builders and sales agents.

§         Maintain & update contacts, projects, and certification databases.

§         Create invoices and status reports.

§         Assist with organization, planning and logistics of workshops and other client-related events.

Required Skills/Experience:

§         Highly proficient skills using MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.

§         Mathematical aptitude and basic understanding of accounting principles.

§         Excellent command of written and spoken English.

§         Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

§         Ability to take initiative and work independently while also collaborating in a team environment.

§         Valid, clean drivers' license and willingness to travel to builder sites using own vehicle (mileage reimbursed at standard rate).

§         Excellent interpersonal communication skills with both internal team and clients.

§         Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic, open, fast-paced environment.

Preferences:

    * Knowledge and/or experience in building science or construction industry preferred.
    * Previous experience in customer services, development, and support also desired.
